Your donations make a BIG difference
More and more people are living with life-limiting conditions and need specialist care like ours to help them have the best quality of life, to the end of life. Our care, delivered at the Hospice and in people’s homes, supports the physical, emotional and social needs of every patient and their loved ones.
Our care is free at the point of use, but unlike the NHS, we are not fully government funded. We need £39,000 each day to care for local families who need our vital support. Our care is only made possible thanks to the generosity of our local community – every donation, gift in Will, charity shop purchase and events like Trunks across the Thames makes a difference.
We are committed to ensuring we are always a place of hope and dedicated to providing care and support to all those who need us, when and where they need it, today and for generations to come.

🚨 BIG NEWS 🚨 Our very own baby elephant ‘Miles’ has been signed to @sloughjetsofficial ice hockey heroes!! It has been an exciting lead up to this moment and elephant Miles said to a reporter “I think our opponents are going to be very nervous when they see my incredible Trunk skills, bring it on!!!”
We want to wish Miles all the best and hope he will be in one piece come our trail this July!!!

We are beyond excited to reveal that @charliemackesy is joining our herd of contributors 🐘🎨
The creator of The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse will be hand-painting one of our elephant sculptures for this summer’s trail across Windsor and Slough, and we already know it’s going to be something truly special.
Charlie’s work is loved around the world for its messages of connection and hope – making him the perfect artist to be part of a trail that supports Thames Hospice and helps spark important conversations about care, compassion and community.
We can’t wait to see his iconic style brought to life on one of our elephants 🐘✨
First look: unveiled at the Royal Windsor Flower Show on Saturday 6 June — before the full trail launches on 13th July!!

We don’t think there is any better feeling than unwrapping a blank sculpture and getting that first lick of paint on 🎨🐘 (or in @eden_designs_murals case…the first ‘drill’ hole 👀😬)
Our artists have been working very hard at our Trunks HQ in the @segroplc Slough Trading estate and we are so excited for you all to be able to see their stunning creations later this Summer. We must apologise as you are going to have to hold your excitement in for now as our artists elephant masterpieces are TOP SECRET 🤫 …Keep your eyes peeled! 👀🐘

We’re delighted to welcome @FHindsJewellers to the Trunks Across The Thames herd 🐘💎
With a proud heritage on the British high street, F. Hinds has been helping people celebrate life’s most meaningful moments for generations.
Now they’re helping create something just as special – bringing art, colour and community together while supporting vital hospice care.
Thank you for adding a little sparkle to the herd ✨
